{"id":58723,"date":"2021-06-16T12:34:10","date_gmt":"2021-06-16T17:34:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pantoglot.com\/cant-read-wont-buy-survey-b2c-2020-edition\/"},"modified":"2021-06-16T12:34:12","modified_gmt":"2021-06-16T17:34:12","slug":"cant-read-wont-buy-survey-b2c-2020-edition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pantoglot.com\/en\/cant-read-wont-buy-survey-b2c-2020-edition\/","title":{"rendered":"Can\u2019t Read, Won\u2019t Buy Survey \u2013 B2C \u2013 2020 Edition"},"content":{"rendered":"&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last July, independent market research firm CSA Research released the results of the third edition of the study\n         <a href=\"https:\/\/csa-research.com\/More\/Featured-Content\/Global-Growth\/CRWB-Series\/CRWB-B2C\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Can\u2019t Read, Won\u2019t Buy \u2013 B2C<\/a>, which aimed to\n         <strong>evaluate online language preferences and their impact on consumers&#8217; purchasing decisions.\n        <\/strong><\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key data from the study\n        <\/strong><\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>8709<\/strong> surveyed\n        <\/li>&#13;\n<li><strong>29 countries:<\/strong> Germany, Brazil, China, Korea, Denmark, Egypt, Slovakia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Slovakia, the United States and Vietnam.\n        <\/li>&#13;\n<li>The surveys were conducted in the <strong>official language of each country; <\/strong>in the case of the US, the survey was conducted in Spanish<strong>. <\/strong> <\/li>&#13;\n<li>The study consisted of two separate surveys; one for consumers, with 50 questions, and one for companies, with 33 questions.\n        <\/li>&#13;\n<li>The study was directed by CSA Research in partnership with specialized firm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kantarworldpanel.com\/global\/About-Us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kantar<\/a><\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul>&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Outstanding findings\n        <\/strong><\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>65% prefer the web content in their own language even if it&#8217;s low quality\n        <\/li>&#13;\n<li>67% accept websites that use multiple languages on the same page\n        <\/li>&#13;\n<li>73% prefer products with user reviews in their language, even if the website or application is not translated\n        <\/li>&#13;\n<li>75% claim they are more likely to buy a product from the same brand again if customer service is available in their language.\n        <\/li>&#13;\n<li>71% prefer to use search engines to solve problems, over social networks, recommendations, influencers and product comparison websites.\n         <\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul>&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CSA Research Director of Research Donald A.
